Since entering the league in 2018, Alexander has been one of the better cornerbacks in the sport. He can play man or zone, and so is a good fit for Mike Macdonald's scheme. The Seahawks also have plenty of money, though the cost should be somewhat inexpensive considering Alexander's recent injury history. Let's discuss whether this is the right big move to make at this time.

The return yardage from the previous season doubled, and the amount of touchbacks went down. Well, the NFL is pushing this further, moving a ball downed in the end zone now to the 35-yard line in 2025. We might just see a true renaissance in regards to kick offs again, and this part of the game going from one that has been recently automatic to a key part of the game.

A few years ago, the Seattle Seahawks bucked the rule of thumb, bucked analytics, taking running backs in the second round in back to back seasons. And while currently the Seahawks have as deep and strong stable of backs as you'll find in the NFL, they've struggled to maximize that talent. The rule of thumb has been proven true, at least so far, and given the Front Office and John Schneider a chance to learn some tough lessons.

The defenses remained stout throughout, and the Seahawks came up just short at the end 15-16, a Jason Meyers missed kick being the difference. The Good - Sam Howell, Kenny McIntosh, Tyrice Knight, Derrick Hall, the receiving core down to the last man, Mike Morris and Myles Adams. Rougher day for PJ Walker, up and down for the offensive line, same for Meyers and some members of the secondary.

At first blush it wouldn't appear that edge is a need for the Seahawks this upcoming draft. They just drafted edges in back to back drafts in the second round, paid Uchenne Nwosu a hearty new contract and even brought back Darryl Taylor this offseason. When you look closer at the situation, Taylor is on a non-guaranteed one-year deal, Uchenna could be moved on from next offseason to save money, and Derrick Hall still remains a question mark after a disappointing rookie season. The edge group of most drafts tends to be well-stocked with variety of prospects throughout each day of the draft. This year is no different. On the show today, we're looking for starting Centers and Tackles that could potentially transition to guard in this 2024 NFL Draft. Many Seahawks fans believe Olu Oluwatimi is ready to slide start at center but there will be some very intriguing center prospects that could cause Seattle to look for an upgrade. In regards to tackles, Seattle not only has their two starters in place at tackle, but have two backups locked in as well. And while it's unlikely they draft a tackle, they are looking for mobile offensive linemen, and one way to get more mobile inside is to transition a college tackle to guard. So on today's show, it's centers and tackles that can transition into guard.
