Whether it's work, or with friends, but most importantly inside of our homes and our families. While it's easy for us to see our shortcomings as failures and weakness, what if I told you that is where in fact true strength lies. The ability to correctly observe what needs to be changed in order to get a better result and how to communicate that with your partner. Please join us for this important discussion.

Larry Klayman

Larry Klayman, founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch, is known for his strong public interest advocacy in furtherance of ethics in government and individual freedoms and liberties. During his tenure at Judicial Watch, he obtained a court ruling that Bill Clinton committed a crime, the first lawyer ever to have done so against an American president. Larry became so famous for fighting corruption in the government and the legal profession that the NBC hit drama series "West Wing" created a character after him: Harry Klaypool of Freedom Watch. His character was played by actor John Diehl.

In 2004, Larry ran for the U.S. Senate as a Republican in Florida's primary. After the race ended, he founded Freedom Watch.

Larry graduated from Duke University with honors in political science and French literature. Later, he received a law degree from Emory University. During the administration of President Ronald Reagan, Larry was a Justice Department prosecutor and was on the trial team that succeeded in breaking up the telephone monopoly of AT&T, thereby creating competition in the telecommunications industry.

Between Duke and Emory, Larry worked for U.S. Senator Richard Schweiker (R-Pa.) during the Watergate era. He has also studied abroad and was a stagiaire for the Commission of the European Union in its Competition Directorate in Brussels, Belgium. During law school, Larry also worked for the U.S. International Trade Commission in Washington, D.C.

Larry speaks four languages—English, French, Italian, and Spanish—and is an international lawyer, among his many areas of legal expertise and practice.

The author of two books, Fatal Neglect and Whores: Why and How I Came to Fight the Establishment, Larry has a third book in the works dealing with the breakdown of our political and legal systems.

Jonathan Vanderhagen of Macomb county Michigan has a story that is a fathers worst nightmare. On 9-22-17 his son Killian Vanderhagen lost his life. Jonathan had fought for custody of Killian in court and told the judge if he did not get custody something would happen. Jonathans worst fears would ultimately come true.

Following the passing of Killian Jonathan started speaking up about what happened in the courts and was sent to jail with a $500,000 for criticizing the judge online. He was offered a plea deal to get out if he claimed guilty, Jonathan denied that deal and stuck to what he believed in. Miraculously Jonathan won his case and is now a free man.

Following this Dad Talk was just getting started and we reported on his case, it went viral. The post we made was a invitation for John to come to the podcast once he got out of jail which he did but just for a few minutes. I've never seen a guy and son who's story inspired other parents like this case.

Once he was released everyone wanted to talk to Jonathan and it was so much that he went silent. What you have here is a father that is still very much grieving over his son. During this time Jonathan and I stayed in close contact, not as a potential interviewee buts as friends and a fellow father.

What you have here is a father that went to the court for answers. He did everything the right and legal way and these are the results in which came to pass. This is just one of many stories of what is happening to fathers across the country in family court.

Jonathan has caught a second wind and wanted to tell his story in hopes it would inspire other parents going through similar situations. Join us for this 4 hour interview with my friend Jonathan Vanderhagen. If you would be interested in helping with this case please reach out to us and share this interview so little Killians story can find the justice it deserves.

If you enjoy what we are doing or would like to help keep us on air please support us over on Patreon.com/DadTalkToday

<itunes:subtitle>Jonathan Vanderhagen of Macomb county Michigan has a story that is a fathers worst nightmare.

Today we had a special episode where our NEW co-host "Chris Gannon" actually became the host and turned the tide on me for a interview. Chris asked me to tell my story in hopes of letting our audience know some personal details about my life and why I started this podcast. This was hard guys, and pretty emotional. Hope this helps someone finding themselves in a similar situation.
