Robert Ernest Marshall, of RR#4 Durham and formerly of Kitchener, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, June 12th, 2023 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Doreen (nee Short). Loving father of Cheryl Marshall and her husband Terry Caldwell, and Bradley Marshall. Cherished grandfather of Kaitlin Zolnai, great-grandfather of Quinn and Lenny Zolnai, and grandfather-in-law of Ekaterina Kostukevich. Dear brother of Pat Kocher, and brother-in-law of Dianne Marshall. Predeceased by his grandson Dustin Zolnai, his brother Bill Marshall, and his brother-in-law Francis Kocher.

Visitation will be held at the Durham Community Centre, 451 Saddler Street West, Durham on Saturday, June 17th from 2 – 2:45 p.m., followed by a funeral service celebrating Bob’s life at 3 p.m. A recording of the service will be available for viewing on Sunday by visiting the Funeral Home website (www.mccullochwatsonfuneralhome.ca). Cremation to follow with interment of cremated remains at Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Amos Presbyterian Church or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
