Sayre is a sculptor and painter whose work can be found all over the globe. He is renowned for his earthcastings, which are "monumental sculptures made in and of the earth".

In 2000, Thomas Sayre was commissioned to help design the courtyard at the men's campus of Healing Transitions (formerly the Healing Place of Wake County). His masterful work of the courtyard, which includes two earthcastings, is still found in pristine condition at the men's campus today to give the men being served a place to reflect, meditate, and heal on their journey to recovery.

Note: On August 16th, Sayre's business partner and architect Steve Schuster passed away. Together, Schuster and Sayre founded Clearscapes - a multidisciplinary design firm that blends architecture with art. Through Clearscapes, Schuster and Sayre are credited for helping revitalize downtown Raleigh.

Music is by Vibe Tracks
