Relationships and MH: It's not serving you, but you're not leaving, why?

Back with another episode concerning relationships (situationships) and this week, I want you to ask yourself, why you're remaining in that situation, if it's no longer serving you, or better still, never served you?

I think out out fear, a lot of us have the tendency to remaining these relationships (situationships) for longer than necessary. So today I'm going to give you the reasons we maybe stay so that when the time comes, we know when to leave and that we HAVE to leave. Because it's never worth abandoning yourself, to maintain a connection. You and your mental health are too precious for mediocre.

Toxic Masculinity ft. Kwame

In today's episode, we discuss toxic masculinity and how it actually starts from such a young age!

We talk about its impact on men and the way it inhibits their ability to openly discuss their mental health. We then take it a step further and talk about its impact on women.

This discussion really highlighted the ways in which our deep-rooted mentalities need to change, in order to bring about change!

Kwame's Story: 'Inner Peace, is a beautiful sensation'

First of all, GREAT TO BE BACK! Thank you for being so patient.

Secondly...where do we start with this episode...WOW.
We have Kwame with us this week and can't lie, we really do not know what to say. Such a deeply fascinating and moving mental health story. We discuss his adolescence, issues with isolation, drugs and finding peace in following purpose.

Jane and I say this all the time but you REALLY do not know what a person is truly going through based on surface level appearances. We loved this episode even more because of the vulnerability, especially for a male and we salute you sir for showing us what is means to be human, beyond gender, beyond societal norms, beyond stereotypes!

Hope you enjoy!
