Anne has had an incredible career in Television, spanning over 20 years working in senior management roles at the BBC, where she was Controller of Documentaries & Contemporary Factual, responsible for many award-winning documentaries before founding the BBC Academy which is the training arm of the BBC. Anne gives an honest observation of how we, as women are taught to limit our aspirations, often talking ourselves out of going for exciting opportunities that may stretch us positively out of our comfort zones. Anne encourages us to be brave and bold by saying yes to things that are slightly daunting and in moments of doubt, asking yourself what’s the worst that can happen?
