The Astros with all their top pitchers out with exception of Zack Greinke who was moved the bullpen. And the Braves having to replace all of their outfield but still managed to make the World Series. It's an interesting matchup and one that is really difficult to call. The Astros lineup can flip a switch like that, but the Braves are playing with house money. Who do you have winning it all? Welcome back! We start this one reading fan mail. Then we get into a SAAS segment and talk San Antonio Missions baseball. Next we get into a lessons learned segment on the Ohio State football scandal. What can we learn from the situation? Then it's on to some little league baseball fun. We run through which teams are heading to Williamsport and why you should watch. Next it's history lesson time. We wanted to take a step back and look at where sports came from. Have you ever wondered where sports started? Probably not, so we did it for you. Hope you atleast learn something new from this new segment we wanted to start. Then it's on to our top 5 sports movies each. What's on your list? Lasty, Alex finishes us off with more NFL discussion and this weeks division is the AFC North. All this with a lot more nonsense.

Episode 14 - Ike and Isiah Thornton

Hello and welcome back! This week we had the pleasure of being joined by one of Anthony's good friends, Isiah Thornton and his dad, Coach Ike Thornton. They hail from Dayton, OH and have a very rich tradition of basketball culture in their family. Coach Thornton won a State Championship in 1981 with Roth High School as a player. He was part of the inaugural basketball program at UTSA from 1981-85. And he has coached some successful programs at Trotwood in Ohio and Sam Houston HS in San Antonio. Now the Head Coach at Smithson Valley. All while also having two other sons both playing at the collegiate level and coaching one at Smithson Valley.

Onto a fairly big issue right now in MLB, the defensive shifts. Should shifts be banned or not? We give our takes and why. Up next to play along with the MLB trade season, we give our hypothetical ideal trades. Who would we go after right now and give up for them. Continuing on with MLB talk we discuss Bartolo Colon and whether or not he deserves to go into the HOF. What say you? Up next we start a new segment called "SAAS"! We're talking local amateur sports in San Antonio and checking in on SAFC and Missions baseball. Lastly, as the NFL season nears, Alex gets into more predictions and this week it's the AFC East.

Episode 10 with Hector Delgadillo

This one was a lot of fun for us. We had the pleasure of interviewing a guy well known in the south side of San Antonio, Hector Delgadillo. Hector is a South San High School alumni where he played baseball with Rocko. He also stood out at the University of Incarnate Word where he was later inducted into their Athletics Hall of Fame. Hector and Rocko share some great stories about growing up in SA and playing at South San. We get into some impressive records he racked up while at UIW. He shares his memories of getting drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays and spending two years in the minors. We get into some actual interview questions for him about his coaching philosophy and what he tries to teach to kids. All this with a lot more good stuff.
