He endured multiple 9-hour surgeries and 9 rounds of chemo to be able to get back on the court and he's off to a great start to the season. GW is 3-0 and Johnson is a big reason why, averaging 17 points and 7.7 rebounds on 46.7% shooting from three. He was recently named Atlantic10 Rookie of the Week. Garrett talks about what he's had to overcome, the role basketball played in staying positive, where his game is at, and how he feels physically now. Riley was an assistant at Georgetown under John Thompson II from 1983-2004 and during that time they won six Big East Championships, four Big East Tournament Championships, made two Final Fours, and won the 1984 NCAA Championship. Riley has been the coach at UDC, a D2 program, since 2013 and is coming off one of the best seasons in program history.
