To Love or Condemn: That Should Not be the Question!

If you ever have the opportunity to love or condemn, always choose love. Why? Condemnation makes us operate at a deficit. We are not in the business of condemning others. We were meant to love and be loved. Don't get distracted by agendas that promote hate and robs you of your peace of mind. Protect your mind, body and soul by keeping it as positive as you can. Will there be bad times? Of course! But we have the power to choose. And when you find yourself in a position where you can either condemn or love, choose love.
Having a set routine is luring, isn't it? On some level, we need a good routine that keeps us in check and on track. But sometimes a routine holds us back. Let's not get stuck in a comfort zone where nothing happens but the passing of time. Today is a good time to check on ourselves to see where we are going. Let's see if these routines we implemented are yielding the right results. Routines only work when we analyze why we've decided to stick with them. Have you analyzed your routine or have you been lured into a routine that doesn't serve you very well? It's time to find out so that we can pivot as needed.

Are you having trouble making certain changes in life? Have you tried extremely hard but can't seem to execute lasting change in areas that desperately need changing? Well, take heart in knowing that some changes may be more difficult for you due to certain issues you may be predisposed to from your family. What does that mean? Well, did you know that cells have memory? That means some things were passed down to you without your input. That's why some of us have heart disease and other issues that run in our families. This is not an excuse for you to not change, but it is an identification of where certain dispositions come from. This means that some of us may need to work harder at making certain changes. That's ok, we are still unique beings who are designed to overcome and succeed. So let's understand the source of some of our issues so we know how to handle them going forward. It's important to know that cells have memory and how cells play a role in what we do in life.

Living in the Extreme of 'Right' vs. 'Wrong'

We understand that certain things in life are either 'right' or 'wrong'. As a society, we need to have laws, rules and regulations to curtail certain behavior. Living in the extreme state of being 'right' or 'wrong' is stressful for you and the ones you love. It's time to take a hard look at how we carry ourselves and realize that being 'right' at all costs is not necessary the prize we are looking for out of life. Focus on building relationships and alleviating mental and physical stress on yourself and others. It's time to understand what it means when we commit ourselves and our actions to living in the extreme of 'right' vs. 'wrong'.

Our uniqueness requires that we create by using our own abilities, character, talents and everything we possess that makes us unique. Yes, we can and should be inspired by others, but there is a difference between inspiration and duplication. When you are duplicating something or someone you are not creating. However, when you are inspired by someone or something, that inspiration sparks you to create and start living your life authentically with focus and purpose. Know the difference between duplication and inspiration and start creating today. You were meant to display your uniqueness, not resolve yourself to a life of copying someone else's life and work. You are worth more than that. You were meant to create, not copy.

Thanksgiving Edition: An Attitude of Gratitude

We all have many things to be thankful for. As we learn to appreciate our own uniqueness and to be thankful for the progress we have made, that gratitude spills over into our relationships with others as well. But being thankful for what we have doesn’t mean we can’t or shouldn’t grieve. In today’s episode, Rhonda shares her story of loss and how she has learned to be grateful even while continuing to grieve.

BIO:

R. L. Maco has a secret weapon–Discernment. It saved her life. Through Discerning consistently, she learned the value of making important decisions based upon facts instead of emotions. Being able to Discern properly is a skill that has shaped her adult life and propelled her to heights she never imagined in her youth.

Over the years, she’s shared the benefits of Discernment with others and incorporated those benefits into her college course curriculums. Teaching students how to Discern in business and in life are critical components of the courses she teaches in business, ethics, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Seeing how her teachings impacted her students greatly, she decided it was time to share her wisdom with a wider audience and wrote this book. Sharing the lessons she’s learned through Discerning regularly has been one of the absolute joys of her life.

In addition to teaching, Maco is a successful practicing New York attorney with over 16 years of experience in litigation, business development, and contract disputes, amongst other areas. Maco is also a recipient of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award that was awarded to her by the County of Nassau, New York for her community service efforts.

In today's podcast, Rhonda builds upon previous lessons focused on self-awareness, self-reflection, and self-belief, by encouraging us to learn to let it go and break the cycle of self-destructive habits.

BIO:
