GLOBAL CELEBRATION OF THE 46TH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF JOE BIDEN AND VP ELECT KAMALA HARRIS.

MEANWHILE, NOV. STORMS ARE STILL BREWING. LIKE OUR BEAUTIFUL LAKE ERIE, TODAY HER WATERS ARE CALM AS GLASS, BUT A SUDDEN UNEXPECTED STORM CAN WHIP UP AT ANY MOMENT AND SEND SAILORS AND BOATERS SEEKING SHORE.

We have some conversation about what is the state of our current storm, the humanity element of it.. how it's effecting us personally, with close friends in ICU with covid, and dealing with some of the general publics bizarre s fantasy world they think we live in with this virus.

We go through and honor the animals that were a huge part of WWI and WWII. And some inspirational stories of what human compassion can really be like if we all just took a step back and gave more instead of take.

Halloween is a favorite time of the year for me,, I love everything about it. We talk about memories that are connected to the songs we chose for this episode. We spent some time in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania a few years ago and we share that memory with a rather bizarre fun time there.

When great trees fall, rocks on distant hills shudder,

lions hunker down in tall grasses, and even elephants lumber after safety.

When great trees fall in forests, small things recoil into silence,

their senses eroded beyond fear.

When great souls die, the air around us becomes light, rare, sterile.

We breathe, briefly. Our eyes, briefly, see with a hurtful clarity.

Our memory, suddenly sharpened, examines, gnaws on kind words

unsaid, promised walks never taken.

Great souls die and our reality, bound to them, takes leave of us.

Our souls, dependent upon their nurture, now shrink, wizened.

Our minds, formed and informed by their radiance, fall away.

We are not so much maddened as reduced to the unutterable ignorance

of dark, cold caves.

And when great souls die, after a period peace blooms,

slowly and always irregularly. Spaces fill with a kind of

soothing electric vibration.

Our senses, restored, never to be the same, whisper to us.

They existed. They existed. We can be. Be and be better.

For they existed.
