Jason Stout and his family recently fled Ukraine because of the Russian invasion. Jason and his family were living in Ukraine to be closer to his wife’s family, who are native Ukrainians. Initially, Jason wanted to stay in Ukraine and help with the war efforts but he realized his skills and abilities might be more useful in helping gather very needed supplies that he could help get directly to Ukrainians on the front lines of the war while keeping his wife and family safe here in Utah. Jason is volunteering his time to assist the Responsibility Foundation in procuring and delivering basic frontline military supplies such as armored vests and helmets. Jason would like to give special recognition to Ben Gochberg and the team at Redemption Tactical for their support in his efforts.

Brian Higgins is the Creative Director and Founder of Mental Healthy F.I.T. Mental Healthy F.I.T. uses Films, Ideas and Tips as the vehicle to assist people in finding creativity and then using that creativity to express themselves to assist in processing their own mental health challenges. Brian shares his experience being born and raised in Northern Ireland and how living in a divided community provided him many important life lessons. In addition to Brian’s work in Mental Health, Brian also sits on the Governor’s Homeless Action Council where he provides insight into his lived experience of homelessness. Brian recently released a documentary film featuring local Utah individuals who are on their path to end homelessness. The film is called:: “Where did it all go right?” Brian reminds us that the two hardest statements to make are “I don’t know” and “I need help.”
