Suzanne Morphew, the Colorado mom who went missing on a bike ride in May 2020, died by homicide, according to an autopsy released Monday, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said in a statement.

Her death was determined to have been caused by "Homicide by undetermined means in the setting of butorphanol, azaperone, and medetomidine intoxication," according to the autopsy.

"These drugs are marketed as a compounded injectable chemical immobilizer for wildlife," according to the autopsy from the El Paso County coroner.

The cap to a wildlife tranquilizer dart was found in the Morphew’s dryer.

Prior to FBI, served 5 1/2 years as a Pennsylvania police officer

Jeremy has aggressively represented thousands of clients in Colorado in all aspects of criminal defense, domestic violence defense and personal injury law.

Prior to his legal practice, Jeremy worked in politics in Washington DC, where he was able to work for two United States Presidents. Kurt Simpson who also goes by AK is the founder of the nonprofit HopeRox.

He works alongside Martin Smallwood.

the HopeRox team is comprised of hundreds of volunteers from around the world coming together for the sole purpose of crowdsourced investigations and support. It was borne out of the Suzanne Morphew Case which AK began working on 2 months post murder.
