And our beloved Oscar is across the pond this week, so we're instead joined by our Eurovision-obsessed neighbor to the north, Worldvishawn, to talk about what we liked and what we didn't. Jeremy doesn't think one song is all that Bellissima, Shawn finds Portugal to be just a little too chill, and Dimitry revels in the madness that is San Marino.

The UK's 2006 Eurovision entry was a song called "Teenage Life," which placed 19th. But what placed far higher in our hearts is the incredible BBC3 documentary Daz's Eurovision about the man, the myth, the legend, Daz Sampson. It's a veritable Spinal Tap's worth of hilarious moments, bizarre musical connections, and at least one moment where Daz suggests he's as good a songwriter as Paul McCartney. OGAE Ireland's president Frank joins us for a very fun deep dive into the doc.

The time has come to dive deep on the most iconic ESC artist of all time, the first two time winner of Eurovision, both as a performer and a songwriter: Johnny Logan. We're joined by Frank, the president of OGAE Ireland, to add the Irish perspective on Ireland's favorite son, at least when it comes to Eurovision. Jeremy's thinking about becoming electric, Dimitry's dreaming of Angelina, Frank suggests having a manager for every member of the entourage, and Oscar's just staring into those teary blue eyes.
