Star Wars Legacy Volume 2 ran for 18 issues from March 20th, 2013 to August 27th, 2014 and is the last comic released from Dark Horse for the Legends continuity. Due to the Halloween weekend, we're taking a break this week. But not to worry! You're still getting that sweet, sweet Star Wars content. Our very own Jim Lehane participated in a San Diego Comic-Con panel this summer entitled "The Science of Star Wars" and you get to enjoy it today. The panel was hosted by Melissa Miller and James Floyd of StarWarsologies, sponsored by Andrea Decker and the Fleet Science Center, and also had astronomer Dr. Lisa Will, astrobiologist Angela Zoumplis, and concept designer Jake Lunt Davies. The panel covered a wide range of topics from binary star systems to whether a porg is plucked or skinned. Enjoy!

The Bad Batch: S1 Eps 1-2

The galaxy just got a little brighter with the release of three new Star Wars trailers.

Video game fans were spoiled and got two new trailers in one week! There's a new Star Wars: Squadrons cinematic trailer and the upcoming VR adventure game on Oculus, Tales From Galaxy's Edge, received a teaser trailer.

The crew had a little debate about lightsabers this episode, specifically, which one each of us thinks belongs in Dok Ondar's at Galaxy's Edge. There's six possible choices that fans can vote on right now. But of course the biggest news for the week is the release of a the first trailer for The Mandalorian Season 2!

We are joined today by prolific Star Wars author Jason Fry. You may recognize him from his fantastic work in a galaxy far, far away, on titles such as the Servants of the Empire series, The Last Jedi novelization, the Galactic Explorer's Guide, and nearly 50 other Star Wars stories.

Our conversation takes us from Legends to Canon, from RPG's to short stories, to novels and everything in-between. Jason takes us on his journey from being a fan with a dream, to becoming a member of the team bringing Star Wars to life, and shares how he balances fandom with being in the author's chair.

But seriously, our new name better reflects the content of this show and JJ, Jim, and Connor as individuals. Thus, starting next episode the podcast on all fronts will officially be called Talkin' Tauntauns. We explain it all in today's show.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has been revealed, and with its arrival JJ may have sheds some tears, plus we dig into the huge surprise we don’t think anyone saw coming. As if that wasn’t enough to fill up an entire show, we also got our first look at The Mandalorian and Fallen Order.
