The Miami Hurricanes Lose to Indiana in the National Championship Game - The Recap

It was a tough loss. The Miami Hurricanes lost to the Indiana Hoosiers 27-21 in the National Championship game at Hard Rock Stadium. Despite having a rough start on offense, the Hurricanes found the end zone in the second half and had the ball with a chance to win the game before Carson Beck threw an interception.

The University of Miami takes on Indiana in the CFP National Championship Game Episode -123

The U is HERE! The University of Miami Hurricanes have made it back to the National Championship game for the first time since the 2002 season. Indiana is a juggernaut of a team and would be the first team to go 16-0 in FBS college football history if they win this game.

Indiana's offense is led by Heisman Trophy winner and South Florida native, Fernando Mendoza. They have outstanding players at WR and RB. They have a really good offensive line. Miami's defense will have its work cut out for it.

The Miami offense will face a defense that they call the "Illusion Defense," because by the time the QB has the snap in their hands, the defense has changed its look.

Will Carson Beck, Mali, Fletcher, and the Big Miami OL be able to score on Indiana's defense? Will Miami's NFL-like defensive line and the rest of the defense be able to contain the Hoosiers' high-octane offense?

The Miami Defense played as a unit and was able to do enough to prevent Trinidad Chambliss and them boyz from beating them in the end.

They fought through penalties and injuries, dropped interceptions, and the flu to finally evict the demons of the Fiesta Bowl curse that the Canes have had for 40 years.

The story, though, was Corey Heatherman's defense. It was just stellar. Sure, Jeremiah Smith got his, but otherwise, OSU could not get anything else going.

But between Mark Fletcher Jr., Malachi Toney, and a defense that looked as good as any defense that has ever worn the Orange and Green, Miami pulled off what some may have called an upset.

Their athletic Director is definitely on the hot seat. This is yet another scandal at a very proud institution with one of the highest achieving athletic departments in college athletics. The Miami Hurricanes went to a chilly Pittsburgh and thoroughly trounced the Pittsburgh Panthers. Miami gave up only seven points, as the defense was rock-solid. The offense was pass-heavy, with Carson Beck dealing, and Malachi Toney continues to show that he is simply one of the best players in college football.

Has the offensive mindset changed since the first half of the season?

The Hurricanes have shown they have learned and are no longer losing players to targeting suspensions. Yes, this was a random thought by Beast.

The second segment brings us to Cam having to explain all of the ACC tiebreakers that have Duke, with five losses, playing UVA in the ACC Championship game. It came down to the fifth ACC tiebreaker. It's dumb.

Speaking of dumb, the boys are not hopeful about Miami's chances to get into the CFP.

So much went wrong that we needed three segments to cover it all.

We cover the horrible officiating, which was not the reason Miami lost, but certainly didn't make the Canes' afternoon any easier.

We talk play calling. We talked about Jojo Trader's great day, until it became a nightmare of a day. We dove into the horrendous job by the offensive line to limit their pre-snap penalties. We talked about Shannon Dawson and Alex Mirabal. We got to Carson Beck. And. Of Course, we put the bullseye square on Mario Cristobal.

The Miami Hurricanes Beat The Stanford Cardinal - The Recap

The Canes came out looking sluggish against Stanford, but the second half saw Mark Fletcher score three touchdowns and the defense pitch a shutout against the Cardinal.

Cam and The Beast start the show by looking at the offensive output for the Canes. The running game got back on track, but we did notice something about this offensive line.

Carson Beck did enough, and Malachi Toney did it again.

The second segment brings us to the mystery question that Cam needed to ask Beast and the defense. Again, the Canes gave up points on the opening drive, but adjustments were made, and more importantly, the players executed the scheme and shut down Stanford. With Akheem Mesidor out, we saw some newcomers step up, and two interceptions were had.

We, once again, had to expand the show to three segments as we had to talk about the special teams. Miami got some good gains in the return game, but missed a kick, and somehow forgot to block while watching Mali make some great moves on returns. Also, Cam permits us to talk about the game time and the line for the game against SMU. Also, we shall once again see some familiar faces as the Canes face the Mustangs.

The Miami Hurricanes Beat the Florida State Seminoles - The Recap

The Miami Hurricanes are 5-0 after going into Doak Campbell Stadium and beating the Florida State Seminoles. The Canes are your state champs after beating Florida, USF, Florida State, and Bethune-Cookman.

The boys start by giving props to the offense and the ability of Miami to hit the big play when FSU came ready to stop the run. Malachi Toney and CJ Daniels are absolutely dominating. Carson Beck, once again, proved doubters wrong, slinging the football and not making mistakes.

Defensively, Bain and Mesidor were sensational, with the rest of the D-line, and the back end made some amazing plays.

It really was a butt kicking, despite FSU's attempt to make a late comeback.

Miami Hurricanes Fall Camp Has Started - Top 10 Current Canes - Episode 99

Sure, Miami will probably make the field of 64, but it's truly time to get some new blood at the helm of the second-most well-known program in the Gables.

The CFP Committee has decided that the top four teams should get the top four seeds and a bye, no matter what conference they are from, or if they are Notre Dame. Cam has thoughts.

Episode 83- Miami Hurricanes Get Big Recruits - Spring Practice Update - Jon Gruden Mishap

The first week of the Miami Hurricanes' Spring Practice is in the books, and Cam and The Beast break it all down.

First, we start with two HUGE recruiting wins the Canes got this week. Jaelan Waters, a DB out of Seffner Armwood, and Ben Congdon, a massive OL out of Ohio, verbally committed this week. The 2026 class is strong so far.

Then it's on to the first week of Spring Practice. We told you before Spring, and we are telling you now, we have heard nothing but strong things about freshman WR Malachi Toney, aka Baby Jesus. Toney was ahead of Ray Ray Joseph in the starting group on Friday. Will Ray Ray have what it takes to fend off Toney and return to the starting group? We shall see. The offense is looking good, even with out CB out there slinging it. The defense is a bit of a work in progress as new DC Corey Hetherman gets to know the players and his staff. But, there is a positive vibe as guys are reportedly enjoying the simpler system and the ability to play multiple positions.

The hiring of Jai Lucas as the Canes' head basketball coach is done, and he will be introduced this week. We'll have more on Lucas and his staff coming up next week.
