TEMPLE OF DOOM is at least partially responsible for the creation of the PG-13 rating from the MPAA. Did it go too dark? Did it hit it just right? TEMPLE OF DOOM was a massive box office success, but did it help the franchise or hurt it? INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE seems almost safe compared to Temple of Doom. A return to the more fun.
