The context of our labour

Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa preached the retreat for the US Conference of Catholic Bishops a couple weeks ago and stressed the importance of the kerygma as a key part of evangelization. The apostles used the kerygma when they embarked to bring all nations to Christ, and the kerygma presents the core Gospel message clearly, simply and with the invitation for the listener to respond.

The battle for your salvation

The best relationships that we have in our lives are the ones where we are not afraid to go deep. Likewise in our relationship with Christ, the more we can deepen our relationship the stronger our relationship will be. The million dollar question then is: how do we deepen our relationship? The Church answers with a clear pathway: praise, verbal prayer, meditative prayer, and contemplative prayer. Today we explore verbal, meditative, and contemplative prayer.

The prayer of praise

Seeking the Spirit

Evangelization demands relationships

We've learned over the years that there are some dangers that come along with discipling others. In this episode, Gerhard sits down with Ian, and Michael, two long-time missionaries with CCO. Ian and Michael share how moving from discipling others to intentionally accompanying others brings clarity and focus to evangelization

To be a Disciple is to be a follower of Christ. To intentionally accompany someone is to walk alongside someone towards the destination of Christ.
