Camden Coleman Talks His Decision To Transfer To JMU

Camden Coleman joined Jack and Bennett via Zoom earlier this week to discuss his decision to transfer to JMU. The former Richmond quarterback helped lead the Spiders to two straight CAA championships and adds a ton of talent to the room.

A rising junior, Coleman helped lead Richmond to 10 wins in 2024. He threw for just over 2,000 yards, completing 65% of his passes and adding 342 yards on the ground. He ran for six TDs and threw for 13 and 5 INTs. He’s a really good player and will push for the starting job in 2025. His PFF grade of 85 was among the best of any QB at the FCS level in 2024.

RANK THE DUKES! | JMU Sports News Podcast

The Dukes head into the bye week at a perfect 5-0. While JMU football made it close again late, the Dukes picked up a nice 5-0 victory over South Alabama last weekend.

They remain undefeated, and they'll enjoy a bye this Saturday. JMU is one of just two undefeated Sun Belt teams remaining, with Marshall 4-0 on the year and an underdog this weekend. The Dukes continue tearing up the FBS level in impressive fashion.

JMU has the best road record as well in the FBS at 3-0 this season. Next up out of the bye week is Georgia Southern who ended the Dukes perfect season a year ago. Meanwhile, in this Bye Week it seems JMU has taken up an opponent that wasn't originally on the schedule, the NCAA.

JMU has been pushing, using the help of the Virginia government, to get the waiver and get bowl eligibility. We will be keeping an eye on that moving forward.

WBB has a new platoon nicknamed the Power Rangers and we LOVE IT! We break down that and the start to conference play for WBB as well.

CAA weekly pick 'em week 13

Basketball brought up some spirited debate and Bennett and Chase talk about if the move to fire Matt Brady and bring in Rowe was the right move.

Not to get hopes up, but this is a special episode.

Jack and Bennett welcome a very special guest, Matt Weyrich (@MattWeyrich), who was The Breeze's Editor-in-Chief the last two years as well as the co-host on the podcast Reasonably Outrageous and top it off served as a color commentator this last season for a majority of games at Veterans Memorial Park.

The three of them discuss what the postseason has in store for the JMU Softball Dukes. Will it be a first round exit? Will they make it to the Supers and have a date with UCLA? We talk about it all with the two of the future pro Dukes and what we are excited to see in their next step. We also talk the confusing baseball team, and the always consistent Lacrosse team.
