Homemade onion ear muffs:
Cut an onion in half, you want to scoop a bit out to create a space for the ear. Heat onion in oven (250 – 300 degrees) for about 15 minutes or until the onion is just warmed. Remove from oven and wrap in a cheese cloth and allow onion to cool to a temperature that is comfortable to touch and place over ear. Place onion over the affected ear for 15 minutes or so.

1 cup ginger, chopped
½ cup maple syrup or honey... or none.
½ cup apple cider vinegar
⅔ cup lemon juice
6 cups water (I used to make a double batch of this in a big pitcher)

Boil water with ginger for 2 minutes then let steep (cover the pot) for 20 minutes. Strain the ginger out (can use something like this https://amzn.to/3YJLO0M ) and then add in other ingredients. If too strong, add in more water.

One thing not mentioned in this podcast is the amount of seed oils in our foods has increased exponentially. These are in fact linked to inflammation and a contributing factor to high cholesterol. I do not stress about never eating vegetable or canola oil but I do try to eat whole foods and cook with other fats. I use grassfed butter, beef tallow, duck fat, etc.
