      <title>DIP | Out and Proud at Work: A Unique Perspective - Part 1</title>
      <description><![CDATA[In this two-part episode, we talked with Una Knowling, Section Leader for Reliability, Fuels, and Efficiency at Black & Veatch Corporation, Licensed Professional Engineer, Adjunct Professor of Mechanical Engineering at UMKC. Una is also an intersex and transgender person who as walked the walk as a woman for a decade. 

Part 1 consists of conversations around what it means to be intersex, Una's experiences coming out at work, what it looks like to be transgender in the STEM field, how to travel safely internationally as an LGBTQIA+ person and professional.

Kevin has written extensively on topics in various areas such as: CEO narcissism, abusive supervision, workplace authenticity and is currently working on various ventures to further connect the research and best practices to help organizations detoxify and employees thrive.</p><p>Kevin earned his doctorate in business administration from The University of Missouri-St. Louis where he focused on the impact of abusive supervision on organizational culture/climate, and employee coping behaviors.
