The Over, Never Out Concert for the Military and our Veterans 21 FEB 2025 Jon Bon Jovi’s Nashville On Friday the 21st of February 2025 our band will take part in a concert at JBJ’s Nashville to honor our military and veteran communities and raise awareness of the suicide crisis, while highlighting solutions and the organizations across the country that stand ready to help. I am so thrilled to announce our next guest, Jaimie Eckert. Jaimie and I met online a few years ago after I was diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, specifically Scrupulosity. Scrupulosity is religious and moral OCD, in other words, it is the obsessive thoughts and compulsive behavior surrounding one's religious beliefs.A scrupulous person is overly concerned with doing the right thing and irrationally doubting one's standing with God. When I met Jaimie, I did not know much about OCD or their themes, but she walked me through that season so gently and help me restore my faith and sound mine. OCD has multiple themes, including but not limited to: harm OCD, relational OCD, pedophilia OCD, health OCD, scrupulosity OCD, and many more. Most people state things like "Oh that's just my OCD" when it comes to cleaning the house or requiring the blinds to be straight, but OCD is much deeper and intrusive. It is important not to confuse perfectionism with OCD. On this episode, Jaimie takes us on a lovely journey discussing Scrupulosity and how to heal from these intrusive thoughts and debilitating mental illness. I am excited for you all to listen or watch this episode as I know it will be educational and encouraging!

Brooke and Justin Jackson are some the greatest people you'll ever get the chance of knowing, and they recently expanded their family adding another gem to the bunch, Luna!

Chris is a former Buffalo Bills defensive back, but he is much much more than a former NFL Player. He is a world traveler, hard worker, encourager, and friend. Chris Hale and I met out in San Diego at Marcus Allen's celebrity golf tournament. We hit it off really well and became fast friends.

On this episode, Chris recounts peculiar stories from his recent travels to Rwanda. Chris also shares with us the peace and freedom we have when we trust God instead of man. He encourages us that even when people let us down, God will never let us down. When we stop striving and worrying, that's when we give God room to do what only He can do.

Zoe Hickel is a former professional ice hockey player and Team USA Gold Medalist. Zoe has played the sport she loves all over the world and has competed in two International Ice Hockey Federation Women’s World Championships (gold-2015, 2016) and one Four Nations Cup (1st-2015).

Zoe currently manages Hockey Programming and Community Relations for the Coachella Valley Firebirds, the AHL affiliate of the Seattle Kracken. She is leaping into this next chapter of life- fresh from finishing assistant coaching for the Ohio State University women's hockey team. As an assistant coach, Zoe got to witness the Buckeyes' women's hockey team greet much success by securing their first ever NCAA National Championship in March 2022.

Now that she's been transplanted to California, Zoe is excited to welcome her love for hockey in a different capacity. While Zoe still trains, coaches, and educates many up and coming players, she is transitioning her focus onto a management and developmental role for the Coachella Valley Firebirds.

Zoe shares with us that people don't really listen to what you have to say, until they feel like you care about them on a personal level. This memoir describes Jake's discontentment with society's unwavering faith in the corporate system. She also shares her dark days and soul's journey to finding peace and contentment. Greg Martinez is well versed in entrepreneurship, however, after reading about George Clooney's success in the liquor business, Greg knew he could resist being average in all areas of his life including new business ventures. He started Resist Spirits LLC with intentions to bring people a Vodka that embodied their slogan "For Kings Not Gods", hence the name FKNG Vodka. Greg was celebrating with his friends one evening, and he playfully hollered at their waitress saying "we need more f***ing vodka!" Right then it hit him, what a bold and ambitious name for liquor! He didn't stop at Vodka though, there is now FKNG Bourbon in stock, and he is working to bring Tequila and Cigars to his inventory.

Rob shares with us his journey beating Cancer and how he battled a rare disease of the central nervous system, Neurosarcoidosis. Talton was privileged to encounter Johns Hopkins' Dr. Howard Philip Levy, M.D., Ph.D. on his health journey. Dr. Levy has worked alongside many notable doctors including Dr. Ben Carson. Levy was pivotal in Rob's recovery by putting hope at the forefront of his mindset. Doc wouldn't allow Talton to focus on survival percentages or any other news that would lend towards negative overthinking. Rob is not only in remission, but he is determined to make the latter half of his life more meaningful. He encourages us to be more grateful and present by not just living, but by being alive! Rob is a member of the Talton Brothers Band and writes music based on his personal experiences. Talton was blessed with the opportunity to play music at the popular music studio, Muscle Shoals, where icons including Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, and the Rolling Stones produced music. Britt shares her story of healing and recovery when facing multiple losses at such a young age. She is getting her PhD in Psychology with the hopes of helping more people process their pain. Jason and Britt bring a lot of insight and knowledge onto the show. We discuss the current political climate in Afghanistan, current terrorism, and what we can do to help. Joe Theismann is a former CFL and NFL championship quarterback. Joe played for the Toronto Argonauts from 1971-1973 and continued his career in football with the formerly known Washington Redskins (now known as the Washington Football Team). Joe spent 12 years in the NFL and accrued many accolades including, Super Bowl XVII Champion, NFL Man of the Year 1982, NFL MVP 1983, and 2x Pro Bowler, to name a few. Unfortunately, Joe's career ended when his tibia and fibula snapped on live TV while being sacked by New York Giants linebacker, Lawrence Taylor. After his injury, Joe entered into his career with Sport Broadcasting. On today's episode, Joe has a lot of experience and wisdom to share with us. He is selfless and spends his time helping others reach their potential and goals in this life. Ethan shares about his growth as a person and the importance of building things in this life full of meaning. Ethan is the general manager at Frog Bones Family Shooting Center, but he wears many more hats in the community. Perhaps Ethan's most important job title is: friend. He is a friend to many, and he always puts others first. Ethan and his friend Jackson Edwards were out of town one weekend and decided to get a tattoo. It was a random tattoo parlor with a stripper pole in the middle, and a story to tell soon after. They both got the roman numerals XV XIII tatted on their arms. The meaning behind the tattoo stems from the verse John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." From then on out, more of their friends got this same tattoo which began a network of people. Ethan began a show called Tats, and he interviews every person who received the tattoo. Each person has a larger meaning behind getting the tat, and the XV XIII Network has a larger meaning than just hosting podcasts. This lot is no longer vacant, thanks to Steve Young and son Austin Young. Steve is the executive chairman of Y-Comm, a telecommunications company that is dedicated to providing quality service to the utility industry. Steve purchased the vacant lot with the intent of building "Pineapples", a multi-level restaurant with a rooftop bar and full-size venue for live music. This is where his son Austin steps in! Austin Young is the lead singer and guitarist for local band, Gary Lazer Eyes. Austin has played many gigs in Downtown EGAD and has inspired many people with his music. He will be managing "Pineapples" and take on the face of the business. This unique Key-Western style restaurant, once completed, will be the spot where every local and outta towner will be sure to hang at. Marcus grew up in a strong family who implemented morals, character, and ambition. While Marcus Allen is one of the most decorated professional football players, he is also one of the most genuine people you could ever meet.
Marcus inspires people to chase their dreams, surround themselves with people who do the same, and help others along the way.
I am excited Marcus is my first guest. When I mentioned to him, my dreams of having my own talk show, he was the first to jump on board and tell me to "get after it".
