For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ( Jeremiah 29:11). The lord God promises plans that we often ignore because we are so caught up in our own worlds we tend to forget that everything should be cast to him. Knowing when to step back is really vital in a life of a child of God because it helps you realize that you are not in control and that God is the one in control. And if God is in control you are guaranteed happiness

Giving up Control

In this episode, we look at Romans 8, a book written by Apostle Paul in which he declares that those who are with Christ are more than conquerors. Those who are with God should have no fear of anything else in the world because God is greater than all things. He who gave his only Son to save all humans will undoubtedly bestow great blessings on those who accept Christ. In this episode, we talk about giving up control so that God can work in us. and what it looks like to relinquish control in our lives.

The lost sheep

Fighting Our Battles

The only way we can ever fight our battles is with the armour of God. In 1 Sammuel chapter 17, a young shepard boy named David is called by God to fight Goliath, a Philistine soldier. Throughout the chapter David illustrates the type of faith and trust that we should have in the Lord. By entrusting in the Lord we are promised that He will strengthen our hearts and provide us courage to fight the "Goliaths" of our lives.
