You can also start carrying another EDC tool such as a flashlight. This gets you into the habit of carrying something with preparedness intent. A flashlight isn't just handy, but a high output light (750+lumens) will disorient anyone as a non-lethal weapon. It will also help get you used to having a tool to carry every day and thinking about using it as a response.

Rory is honest, crafty, and has seen more off road recovery situations than one can fathom. We discuss Rory's journey from hitting rock bottom to his recreation. Now a full-time content creator, it's important to mention how valuable it is for content creators to mentor and help other content creators. Rory got his encouragement from Matt's Off Road Recovery and he has since been able to pursue his dreams and is doing what he loves, and has always loved. He's advocating for a safer, better respected Moab and is a cornerstone of the off road community in the region.

Accumulating manuscripts for my book, we kick-off with reading a piece from this winter's travels in Flagstaff. When traveling it is common for me to share writing pieces, this motivated a recording and an update.

Pausing in Kentucky after travels in Minnesota, Seeker Radio is in final phases of producing next guest episode with Moab's off-road & YouTube recovery truck driver, Rory Irish. I discuss the process of selecting a winner for our Rose giveaway with Modern Warriors. After that, I brief on upcoming recordings from kayak camping in Minnesota's Boundary Waters and various guests from one of the most historic USPSA Nationals.

Lena Miculek : Rose in the Wild

During a winter trip through Louisiana I found myself visiting friend and professional shooter Lena Mickulek. In true ADHD ways our conversation meanders from Louisiana facts, the ins & outs of the shooting industry, to discussing the Miculek family history in depth. This family pioneered and paved the path for professional athletes in shooting in sports, yet the history you'll hear hasn't been widely shared.

At the recording of this episode Lena was one week from releasing "Rose" by Sig Sauer at SHOT Show. Unable to disclose the details of Rose before the launch, Lena discusses instead the motivation and thought process that went into this project.
