Samuel Bolduc is also playing well, scoring his first NHL goal against the Kraken and providing the Islanders with additional options on the backend.

Ross Johnston and the Islanders came to an agreement on a four-year extension to cap off the first half of what should be seen as a successful road trip (11:08). Ilya Sorokin absolutely dominated in net for the Islanders, etching his name in the record books, and earning the NHL's third star of the week.
