Google Opal keeps expanding. If you haven’t checked it out yet, give it a look — it’s a smart concept with plenty of practical applications. The fact that Google continues to invest here shows they’re taking this space seriously.

Softr Downgrades Plan

Softr has reduced its business-plan limits from 2,500 to 500 users per workspace for new customers. That shift suggests a renewed focus on smaller companies. It’s a reminder that with proprietary tools you’re always subject to pricing changes, while open-source options offer more stability. They’ve still got strong workflow and AI features, but this new tier is something to keep in mind.

n8n Agent Bug Fix

n8n released updates to both their stable and preview builds. A key fix addresses how the AI Agent handles tools — previously a weak spot. Since AI Agents are becoming central to many workflows, this improvement could make a real difference.

Eleven Labs – From Idea to Done

Eleven Labs continues to expand its music-generation and studio tools. It fits right into the no-code space: enabling creators, solo entrepreneurs, and small businesses to move from idea to production without heavy developer overhead. It’s a fresh approach for intranets and internal company sites, and something I’m planning to test on an upcoming project.

Appsmith Agents

Appsmith continues to grow with its AI Agents feature, letting you embed automation and context directly into your apps. If NoCoBase doesn’t meet your needs, Appsmith is a strong alternative with plugin support and a mature ecosystem.

Buddibase

Buddibase remains active with 22 thousand GitHub stars. Comparing its contribution activity to Appsmith and NoCoBase gives a good sense of community momentum. Even if mature projects slow down, tracking these insights is a solid way to gauge which platforms are thriving.

One thing that came after the interview was a conversation with Eric and we found more then one way to help automate some of his more tedious daily tasks.
For example he gets numerous URLs sent to him daily that he has to verify are not spam. With just a little LLM prompting we can do the following.

• Get the page from the url
• See if the page is a valid technology article related to Laravel, PHP etc
• If it is then mark the link as approved
• if not mark the link as spam!
  Of course it will take some prompt tweaking to get it right but in time as trust is built up he will no longer have to do this task.
