Oftentimes, it's the sellers who provide all the drama and in this episode, we share one of those moments. In 2007, we found a multi-family property listed for $1.3M. It was owned by two older gentlemen who were in the middle of a breakup each residing in their own separate unit. Although it exceeded our $1M budget, we went to look at the property only to have one of the owners Darryl come outside and greet us. He was motivated to sell due to the breakup and encouraged us to "just make an offer." My brother and I offered $1M but we ended up agreeing at $1.1M.
