Shortly after the end of the 2022 MLS season, we interviewed Celo. This was after the Altitude TV contract had expired. MLS was in the middle of setting up MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Teams were saying goodbye to their local broadcast partners. Celo was in limbo. He was happy and at peace, amid the uncertainty.

Here's that interview again. We discuss him growing up in Southern California and transitioning from college soccer to the fledgling semi-professional game in America. The Colorado Foxes come up. 3. Center backs: Moise Bombito and Lalas Abubakar are gone. Who's in the center back pair or treble? How do they play together?

4. Fullbacks: The Rapids have Sam Vines, captain Keegan Rosenberry, and Reggie Cannon. Who starts at fullback and can that position unit raise its level from last year?

5. Defensive midfielder: The Rapids took a flyer on Ali Fadal. Conor Ronan is still here. Jasper Loffelsend and Lamine Diack are gone. Who plays at the 6 and can the embrace the Rapids Thug Life? How ridiculous is it the Rapids might not be good at this position for the first time in a decade?

Bravo played for the Rapids in the 1990s and was a part of that team that made MLS Cup 1997. He served in the Rapids Front Office from 2009 to 2016. We discuss his time at the club, his philosophy as a member of the FO, and his much discussed relationship with Head Coach Gary Smith.

We break down that 3-0 loss to LAFC on Saturday. The approach and ideas were good, but they were too aggressive and naive to start the match. The Black and Gold showed why they are one of the best teams in MLS, especially when they're ahead at home. The Burgundy Boys hung in there in the second half until Kévin Cabral got sent on. HTHL has obtained an advanced copy of the C38 open letter to the Rapids front office and ownership, to be released Thursday morning. We've also learned about a walkout protest planned for the 20th minute on Saturday. We skim over the letter, highlight key parts, and discuss how it could be received by those it was directed at. Rapids fans care, do you Josh and Stan Kroenke? Then Matt discusses what he knows about the planned protests for Saturday, what they could look and sound line at scale, and how you can participate if you're so inclined.

We disagree with a few of the things said in the open letter. "Mistreatment of press and bloggers" could be referring to the Rapids 2 incident from back in March. We would not use the word "mistreatment" to describe what happened there. You can refresh your memory on that situation here starting at 25:38.
