World-Renowned Sport Psychologist: Understand yourself to unlock success | Dr. Michael Gervais

In our first episode, we sit down with renowned psychologist and performance coach, Dr. Michael Gervais. Dr. Gervais shares profound insights into success, failure, and navigating high-pressure environments. He challenges conventional definitions of success: it's not about the scoreboard but the eagerness to push oneself to the limits of capability. We discuss how the fear of others' opinions is a major barrier to greatness and talk about how deep knowledge of the self can help us overcome these barriers.

Drawing from Coach Paul Assaiante’s wisdom and Japanese philosophy, we explore the idea that failure is the playground of success, where true learning happens. This conversation provides valuable strategies for working through these challenges and losses. Whether you're an athlete or a professional, this episode will inspire you to embrace failure, redefine success, and excel in the face of challenge.
