The First time I heard the term Kaizen was about 30 years ago when I took my first Judo class, it was a term that my Sensei (teacher) would repeat over and over again during training.....

Then many years later I would hear it again when I was studying Business, and I was ready to become an entrepreneur =&gt; there was something about the meaning of Kaizen that made an Impact in the way I wanted to Build my Ideal Business.

Then i Would hear the same term with some of the professional fighters as how they approached training on a daily basis.....

And Now as part of the Podcast Show because lucky for us no one has used this on the Athletic way for a podcast!!!!

Kaizen =&gt; Its a Japanese Term meaning Change for the better or Continuous Improvement  =&gt; Mostly Used as a Business philosophy // Another meaning its part of the Japanese Ancestress Warrior Culture that has been passed on by generations.

      <title>Episode #2) Why Creating the Athletic Kaizen Show?</title>

        <![CDATA[<p>Welcome to the Athletic Kaizen Show,</p><p>We are Glad you are Here,</p><p>Today we want to talk about why we create the Athletic Kaizen Show and what's our Objective with each episode, How We can Help you get Your Kaizen Action of the day => So in that way you can for sure win the day every day, and focus on who you become on the process rather than focus on the outcome.</p><p> </p><p>*As we started developing the Mindset curriculum we found out along the way how little resources overall for training the Softball team was available, what its even more crazy was the almost non existing  resources on the mindset for softball players => in which the game its famously quoted to be about 90% mentally and 10%physically, => Especially on College Softball teams were its normal to have back to back games and not so much rest in between them...</p><p>*Many Questions arise like :</p><p>=> Why if the team dominate on the fist game they would lose the momentum and lose the second game?</p><p>=> Why if the Team Lost the first game they comeback and win the Second game?</p><p>=> Why would the team being playing good and suddenly everyone start making mistakes and lose the game?</p><p>=> Why its so hard to let go of the last game and focus on winning the current game?</p><p> </p><p>All this questions and more were the beginning for this amazing journey in the Quest to make an impact for the better on College Female Athlete players ..... During the Journey as we keep digging deeper with each weekly meeting we discovered many Limited beliefs, Negative thinking, injuries mindset, lower self confidence , Comparison trap, Low energy levels and many more barriers without anyone helping them to navigate and overcome this normal challenges for the better->> Our Mission its to guide , Impact, and transform our athletes life so they can become their best version from the inside out => We know that a strong mind will make a strong person and a strong person => make a better athlete.</p><p> </p><p>**As we keep asking ourselves if the prior challenges were exclusive for softball players only .....through research talking with other females team coaches we found out its not exclusive for softball only as matter of fact the same situation were happening with females basketball players, Volleyball, Soccer , and many other sports as early as middle school, with big amplified on high school and then affecting the performance on the first 2 years of college, and beyond and perhaps not able to fully develop their maximum potential => that's why The Athletic Kaizen Show focus more on the female Athlete overall.</p><p> </p><p>we have 3 Main Mission to accomplish with this podcast</p><p>#1) Help the Listener to Become their best Version Ever from the inside out => Eliminate Limited Beliefs, Self negative talk, Eliminate Getting into a suffering mindset , Low Energy , No Clarity, Bad questions, Fear and living on a Reaction Environment and Moving into a Empowered Beliefs,  Neutral => Positive Self talk, Beautiful Mindset, High Energy, Absolute Clarity, asking better questions, Faith and Confidence and Creative Action Plan to accomplish anything they Desire and Deserve in life.</p><p> </p><p>#2) Apply your own Kaizen Action of the day => We don't just want people to consume more information ....we want them to take daily action!!! even if its a small step but on a daily basis "You Climb Everest one step at the time"  => Here we offer a specific tip to apply, a lesson to learn, an exercise to do its all about winning the day , and celebrating the wins on a daily basis, enjoying the process since that's where we stay 98% of time.</p><p> </p><p>#3)  Live the Kaizen attitude lifestyle that can make an impact in other people as well their teammates => their families => their friends => their work, their mission , and ultimately  their Legacy to future generations!!!  </p><p> </p><p>=> Challenge #1) What was Your  average 3 days Negative self talk count?  </p><p>=>Challenge #2) => Reduce that Number by 5!!! anything above that number means you do 30 Full Burpees for Each One!!! yes i said 30 Burpees for Each one!!</p><p>Let us Know what was your number!!!</p><p>Don't Forget to Subscribe, Share, Leave a Review!!!</p><p>Coach Jonathan Suarez, Coach Kristen Silva</p><p>Ultimatefitnesslab@gmail.com</p><p>www.uflelitetraining.com</p>

Today Kaizen Challenge: 
All about negative self talk...
Step #1) Write Down on paper ~&gt; how many times you talk negative about yourself!!! I mean every single time...Even when you joke about yourself still write down....Some examples: My hair its such a mess i look like a crazy person, I'm too lazy to move, my nose its sooo big..., My belly just rolls, My under arms are ugly and flabby ,etc i mean everything.

Step #2) Find your Average 3 Days Count =&gt; Ideally one of the days its a weekend day

Step #3) Challenge yourself to less negative self talk =&gt; Lets say your 3 day average was 20 times x day then challenge yourself to only 15 times x day and every rep. after that you have to do 25 Full Burpees!!! =&gt; Hey if you are going to be negative self talking we have to find the way to make it positive somewhat at least your going to be super Fit!!!

Step #4) In a Week Repeat Step 3 but this time your limit its 12 or every number after 12 its going to be 50!!! Yes 50 Full Burpees!!!

Then many years later I would hear it again when I was studying Business, and I was ready to become an entrepreneur =&gt; there was something about the meaning of Kaizen that made an Impact in the way I wanted to Build my Ideal Business.

Then i Would hear the same term with some of the professional fighters as how they approached training on a daily basis.....

And Now as part of the Podcast Show because lucky for us no one has used this on the Athletic way for a podcast!!!!

What's Kaizen?
Kaizen =&gt; Its a Japanese Term meaning Change for the better or Continuous Improvement  =&gt; Mostly Used as a Business philosophy // Another meaning its part of the Japanese Ancestress Warrior Culture that has been passed on by generations.

Today Kaizen Challenge: 
All about negative self talk...
Step #1) Write Down on paper ~&gt; how many times you talk negative about yourself!!! I mean every single time...Even when you joke about yourself still write down....Some examples: My hair its such a mess i look like a crazy person, I'm too lazy to move, my nose its sooo big..., My belly just rolls, My under arms are ugly and flabby ,etc i mean everything.

Step #2) Find your Average 3 Days Count =&gt; Ideally one of the days its a weekend day

Step #3) Challenge yourself to less negative self talk =&gt; Lets say your 3 day average was 20 times x day then challenge yourself to only 15 times x day and every rep. after that you have to do 25 Full Burpees!!! =&gt; Hey if you are going to be negative self talking we have to find the way to make it positive somewhat at least your going to be super Fit!!!

Step #4) In a Week Repeat Step 3 but this time your limit its 12 or every number after 12 its going to be 50!!! Yes 50 Full Burpees!!!
