TRL Episode 11: You just do it.

Cory and Lindsey missed a week of recording, kids, work, travel and an unexpected snow day left them with no time to record. So, this episode asks, how do you juggle life?

After missing a week of recording we wondered how do other parents do this life, work and family juggle? We talk a bit about how we try (because most of the time we fail) and ask for your help. Or at least Lindsey does, Cory doesn't want to hear about it (ha!).

We talked about all the life transitions we have gone through as a couple and how more than once our stress inventory test has been off the charts. You can take it for yourself and see where you are.

Lots of eye-rolling in today's episode and a great story of why no one should listen to our parenting advice that involves the wolf from Sesame Street.

via GIPHY

Cory gets a little sentimental and Lindsey has a "hold your horses" moment, so basically it is like every other episode and maybe a more ridiculous than usual.

Don't forget to leave a review or reach out to us on Twitter! Lindsey wants to hear your parenting advice: @LindseyMillerWP

Making the decision to leave a great career to be a stay at home mom is not an easy one, which is what Lindsey did 6 years ago after our first child, Caloway, was born.

And then, a couple years after our second child, Lillian, was born, she sought to make the transition back to work and for a while did not even seem possible to her.

In this episode, we talk about Lindsey's career journey from political consultant to stay at home mom back to work.

Lindsey thinks it is the lack of a fear of failure and transferable skills and Cory has a book recommendation: Mindset: The New Psychology for Success

We found out in mid 2018 that our son Caloway, our 5 (almost 6 year old), has mild to moderate hearing loss and needed hearing aids. It was a shock at first, but one that changed Caloway's life for the better.
