Yaara Segal served as Senior Advisor to Israel’s ambassador to the UAE and was a founding team member of the Israeli embassy in Abu Dhabi following the signing of the Abraham Accords. She also served as Director of Public Diplomacy at the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles.

Manar Al-Sharif is a Syrian-Palestinian peace activist and journalism. She grew up in Damascus, Syria but was forced to leave amid the Civil War. Manar later arrived in Gaza to study journalism at the Islamic University, but dropped out over concerns of Hamas influence on the course.  

In this episode, Manar discusses her own journey as a Syrian-Palestinian peace activist and the courageous projects she has been a part of, whilst also shedding light on the dangerous reality of seeking peace in Hamas-run Gaza.

Hamit Ekinci is a PhD researcher in International Political Economy at the University of East London and a researcher at the STAMP Centre.

Dalia Ziada and Nir Boms have worked tirelessly in pursuit of peace in the Middle East and regional cooperation. Dalia Ziada is an Egyptian writer and human rights activist, who serves as the Chairperson of the Liberal Democracy Institute and as a Senior Fellow at the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs.  

Nir Boms is a researcher and commentator, and a Senior Research Fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center, where he serves as director of its Programme for Regional Cooperation.
