International Harvest: Ashley's Story

Host Laura Wilcox welcomes Ashley back to the Sacred Story Podcast for a conversation about transformed lives in the Middle East. Ashley shares how the underground church in Iran is one of the fastest-growing underground churches in the world, despite intense persecution.

Ashley describes her ministry in another Middle Eastern country where Iranians and other nationalities have settled. While she and her husband are always looking for the next "person of peace" who is ready to hear the good news about Jesus, they also wait patiently and prayerfully in their interactions with others for God to make it clear that someone is seeking Him. For example, one woman saw a photo of believers in Jesus and expressed she wanted the hope she saw in their eyes. She and others in her circle of influence soon came to faith in Christ.

Laura asks Ashley how Western believers can learn from the suffering, persecuted church in the Middle East. Ashley shares that the suffering church there is also a thriving church, marked by a joy and perseverance many Western believers have not yet imagined.

Laura also asks how listeners can join God's harvest in the Middle East. Ashley says, "We want to connect with Western believers who have a God-given burden for the Middle East. We're called together to fulfill the Great Commission." Ashley asks for prayer for open doors, protection from the enemy and wisdom in the relationships and conversations she and her husband have as they look for those persons of peace. Find out more about Ashley's ministry in Sacred Story Podcast Episodes 53, 18, and 7.

Madison's Story

In this episode of Unexpected Turns, host Laura Wilcox has a conversation with Madison, who recalls her worst day ever as a high school student years ago. On the same day, Madison experiences a breakup with her boyfriend, the discovery of a terrible rumor circulating in school about her, and a grade that falls well below the perfectionistic standards she places upon herself. At the end of this terrible day, Madison comes home, refuses to eat dinner, and buries herself deep under her covers to pour out her complaints to God.

As Madison cries out to God about the disconnect that she feels between God's promises and her current reality, an increasingly loud thunderstorm rages outside her bedside window. Expressing her anger and sorrow over her day, she finally tells God she has no intention of ever going back to school or even leaving her bed. At that moment, the cacophony of the wild thunderstorm suddenly and completely stops. She realizes just as suddenly that God is present and has never left her alone.

As her perspective shifts, Madison begins to pray in a different way, and the rain begins falling softly again. God reminds her that evening and in the following days back at school that he is close and constant. As she faces the situations that devastated her on that horrible day, she slowly learns to find her security, identity, and worth in God's love, instead of in uncertain and unsteady circumstances.

When Madison's story, High School Hope, was released on the Sacred Story website, Madison shared it with her current friends. Conversations about the challenges of high school followed, and Madison found those friendships growing closer. Bonding between women often occurs when they share how difficult experiences have led to deeper faith. Schedule a Sacred Story Retreat for your women's group to experience the power of sharing stories.

Kate's Story

In this episode of Unexpected Turns, host Laura Wilcox has a conversation with Kate, who was diagnosed with a rare venous malformation behind her right eye in her late teens. Though not cancerous, the location of Kate's mass of entangled veins posed dangers that only grew over time.

Although Kate had come to faith in Christ in her childhood, she sought for many years to handle her condition in her own strength. Instead, she focused on her job as a dental hygienist and even more on her roles as wife and mother to five children. Over time, the risks posed by her venous malformation grew serious. Doctors told her that if she did nothing, she would probably die from a rupture of the mass before the age of 40. Yet surgery posed major risks as well, so Kate pushed the decision to the back of her mind.

After a move to Nebraska, Kate's family was faced with several challenges in their new home. When her husband was offered his old job back in Texas two years later, Kate felt overwhelmed by their decision of possibly moving again. God used the stress of this decision to bring Kate to the realization that she was not as strong as she always wanted to believe. And that was okay. Her family did move back to Houston, and Kate knew it was time to seek out a surgeon who had the skill and courage to risk her needed surgery.

Since 2023, Kate has had five major surgeries to deal with the venous malformation and to seek restoration to her right eye. Though her health journey has been very difficult, she has grown in her trust in God's unfailing love, wisdom and power in her life. Read Kate's story, Eye Problems in God's Hands, on the Sacred Story website.

Find out the untold stories in your women's community by scheduling a Sacred Story Retreat.

Tranece's Story

In this episode of Unexpected Turns, host Laura Wilcox has a conversation with Tranece, whose world was turned upside down when she learned that her 18-year-old son had been arrested for murder. Because Tranece had just gotten engaged the day before she received this devastating news, she wondered if her fiancé Terrence would want to keep their engagement.

Yet Terrence assured her of his unconditional love and commitment to her. The wedding was on, yet Tranece found it difficult to walk the road of wedding planning while grieving her son's situation. As she learned to forgive her son and to forgive herself for any shortcomings as a parent, she also began to live in freedom from the shame of parenting a son in prison. In time, God redeemed the situation in many ways. Her son began to grow in his faith in Christ and to see prison as his place of ministry. And God began to show Tranece how He would use terrible circumstances to equip her for a ministry of hope to others.

Today Tranece and her husband have three daughters together in addition to her two sons. They have both studied at Dallas Theological Seminary, where Tranece has earned the Master of Arts in Christian Education and the Master of Biblical and Theological Studies; she is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree at DTS. Tranece is a published writer and speaker based in Dallas. Contact her for speaking engagements at TraneceHarris@dallasseminary.edu.

Read Tranece's story, "I Do" And Your Son Too, at the Sacred Story website.
Ahmet's Story

Our host Laura Wilcox welcomes Ahmet, an Iranian refugee to Turkey, for this episode of International Harvest. After a long and arduous journey over the mountains from Iran, Ahmet arrived in Turkey in search of a better life. He had no interest in pursuing any faith, yet when he broke his leg, he became a captive audience to his Christian brother's prayers. He relented and attended a church service where his brother preached, Ahmet's first time ever to attend a Christian worship service. He was struck by the sense of peace present at this gathering.

Soon after, an argument between Ahmet and his brother focused on Jesus' unique call for Christians to forgive their enemies. Ahmet continued to resist the Christian faith until he attended a birthday gathering of believers from different nations. He kept expecting a fight to break out at the birthday party, because the believers there were from countries at war with one another. But instead, he observed their love for one another. He could no longer resist the draw of this God of true peace and sincere love.

Now Ahmet works as a barista, preparing coffee with the secret ingredient of Jesus' love. He and his brother plan to eventually open their own coffee shop to foster spiritual conversations.

The translator for Ahmet's story is Ashlee. You can find former podcasts about her part in God's harvest on the Sacred Story website at International Harvest #18 and International Harvest #7.

Lettie's Story

In this episode of Unexpected Turns, host Laura Wilcox welcomes Lettie Carr. Lettie shares how God led her to consider a low-paying job as a women's prison chaplain in spite of her initial resistance. Lettie had recently made partner as a lawyer, and she and her husband had recently bought a new home. As she looked around for an opportunity that might give her more time with her 2-year-old son, two jobs stood out to her, one paying very well in the law profession, and the other paying very low wages as a chaplain. Though she had the lucrative job in the bag, she couldn't forget the prison chaplaincy job. She applied, hoping God would choose someone else. When she was offered the job, she waited for God to overcome her husband's reluctancy before she finally surrendered to what appeared to be God's plan.

Over 20 years later, Lettie looked back over hundreds of women's lives changed and brought to Christ. The prison's recidivism rate---the number of released prisoners who end up back in prison---was one of the lowest in the nation as God transformed lives through a vibrant church meeting within the prison walls.

After she moved on from prison ministry, Lettie began a new ministry called Whosoever Believes, featuring a YouTube channel called the 3:16 prayer line, where those needing prayer can call in at 3:16 PM Monday to Friday.

Read Lettie's story, A Strategic New Job, on the Sacred Story website.

Find out what true stories are hiding in your Christian women's community by scheduling a Sacred Story Retreat to help women develop and share their stories.

Julie's Story

In this episode of Unexpected Turns, our host Laura Wilcox speaks with Julie about beauty. Julie shares how, in her teen years, she thought her mother could use a few lessons on hairstyle and fashion. Julie competed in several beauty pageants, where she realized she would always find another woman whose beauty assets would outshine her own.

As Julie grew older, she recognized that her mother's real beauty came from her kindness, gentleness, and faith in Christ. Her mother helped one neighbor on a daily basis and volunteered many hours at a crisis pregnancy center. But as her mother grew older, she faced a heartbreaking diagnosis: Alzheimer's. In a season of coming to terms with this loss, Julie found comfort for her mother and for herself in Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

As Julie's mom's disease progressed, she eventually lost her ability to speak. Often Julie played worship music while she sat with her mom, sensing the depth of her mom's connection with her beloved Savior.

Julie has grown in her perception of beauty---from the shallow, fleeting beauty she focused on in her teenage years to her desire now to be beautiful like her mother---a woman whose beauty radiates from a close relationship with Jesus. You can read Julie's story, True Beauty and Alzheimer's, on the Sacred Story website.

What unique stories are waiting to be told in your community of Christian women?
Episode #50: Talida's Story

Host Laura speaks with guest Talida in this episode of Unexpected Turns. When Talida and her husband welcomed twin girls into their family, they looked forward to imparting both their faith and the rich culture of New York City. But an autism diagnosis for one of the girls interrupted their dreams. Talida tackled the challenge as a devoted, studious mother and shared notes on dealing with autism with extended family members. Then a close family member died by suicide with no advance warning, and Talida struggled with a hidden grief she didn't feel free to share with others. When her second daughter also faced developmental delays and was also diagnosed with autism, Talida emerged from a grief fog and sought help for her second daughter.

Talida shares how the timing of these trials together caused and still at times causes negative emotions to spiral. As she and her husband have grieved together, they have sensed God's presence in the pain. Talida has focused on replacing God's truth with lies, such as blaming herself for her mother-in-law's death or her daughter's diagnosis. She has found she can bring dark lies to light in the context of God's character and the support of safe community.

Talida encourages those dealing with an autistic child to dig for the fears and struggles behind their behaviors so parents can uncover needs. "Study your child. Be an expert on your child's strengths"---instead of focusing on their deficits. Talida adds, "All of God's children really are wonderfully made."

In dealing with the loss of her family member, Talida shares that she and her husband were helped when the loss was acknowledged straightforwardly and empathetically. Talida also found the physical pain of long-distance running has helped her cope with emotional pain. "This life is painful and temporary," Talida says. "We embrace the suffering because we know Who holds the key to our eternity."

Sharing her story has helped Talida own up to lost expectations, realize her own brokenness and see God's presence in the messiness. She has also found that sharing her story has helped other people open up about their own hardships. Read Talida's story Autism, Grief and Hope to find out more.

What stories are waiting to be discovered in your women's ministry or small group?

As we continue the series Unexpected Turns, host Laura Wilcox welcomes guest Gretchen, who recalls her move to a small town for her first job after college. As Gretchen struggled with loneliness and envy of her friends' lives in bigger cities, she also prayed God would help her unbelief (Mark 9:24).

Unsure about what God was up to, she stepped out in faith to do what she did feel sure about: finding a church family, reaching out in friendship to other believers there and leading a women's Bible study. Her new friends from church were all married, and some had children. Believing God had prepared good works for her to walk in (Ephesians 2:10), she joined in the activities and struggles of these friends and found her flexibility as a single person gave her great opportunities to encourage others. In return, she enjoyed rich friendships.

Read Gretchen's story, New Girl, Small Town, to find out more details of her story.

What stories are waiting to be discovered in your women's group or ministry?
Episode #47: Tanna's Story

In the ongoing series Unexpected Turns, Host Laura Wilcox welcomes guest Tanna, whose early search for validation from good grades and athletics led to her severe struggle with an eating disorder in her college years.

As Tanna reflects on her time denying the stronghold of her eating disorder, she describes it as a "bony prison." A bony frame was all she had left after she isolated herself to avoid food.

As her parents brought up Tanna's low weight and eating habits, she denied any problems. Tanna only participated half-heartedly in initial appointments with therapy and nutrition counseling until her dad gave her an ultimatum. When she was forced to choose her eating disorder or her family, she understood she was at rock bottom.

God led Tanna to a Christian eating disorder treatment center where healing could happen. Though she was surrounded by depression and heartache, her environment was drenched in hopeful Bible truths. Tanna began reading the Bible and learning more about who Jesus was. She saw that she could never truly get rid of her eating disorder unless she replaced the lies she had believed with the truths of a new identity in Christ. She clung to 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 and 2 Corinthians 5:17, which told her no matter how crushed and fragile she felt, she could trust God to put away old patterns and make her a new creation, leaving her eating disorder behind.

That process didn't happen overnight though. After leaving her treatment center, she found herself a year and a half later having returned to some of her eating restrictions. Though she felt a lot of shame having to seek more treatment at an outpatient facility, she realized in time that God had taken away all her shame in Christ, no matter how many times she needed help. At the end of this treatment plan, she kept a support team in place even after she believed she didn't need it. Read Tanna's story, "Food Freedom," to hear more about her journey.

Tanna's advice to those who suffer from eating disorders is to seek and lean on help and community. "The Enemy loves it when we are silent---especially with eating disorders." She encourages women to use NEDA (National Eating Disorders Association) to help them find resources in their area.

What stories are waiting to be told of God's faithfulness in the lives of women you know?
Episode #46: Shiona's Story

Host Laura Wilcox interviews Shiona for this episode of Unexpected Turns. Shiona comes to faith in Christ as a child, yet only her grandmother nurtures her young faith. Because of childhood sexual abuse, Shiona fights a battle against shame even after becoming part of a Christian community of believers in middle and high school. As a college student, Shiona's feelings of shame contribute to a season of sin until she confesses to her college pastor. Renewed by God's forgiveness and grace, she explores opportunities for ministry and soon discovers her love for the Japanese people.

After serving in a year of ministry in Japan as an English teacher, Shiona marries and returns to Japan with her husband and daughter. She and her husband intend to spend their lives as missionaries in Japan, but another pregnancy triggers severe anxiety for Shiona, and she and her husband must return to the States for her mental health as well as the baby's birth.

As Shiona further processes some of the pain from her past, she sees her need to base her identity not on being a missionary but on what God says is true of her as his beloved child. In time, after her kids are all in school, God gives her the opportunity to befriend Japanese women attending English classes at her church. She is thankful God has brought her full circle as she shares her faith and friendship with Japanese people in her Texas community.
Episode #43: Diana's Story

Continuing the series Unexpected Turns, host Laura Wilcox talks with Diana, who recalls her decades-long marriage with Rick, a man who supported but did not share her faith in Christ. While Diana warns other young Christian women to marry a man who is already a believer, she also shares how God can redeem mistakes. After Diana's father died, she began thinking and praying more about her husband's need for Christ. As her prayers became desperate, she came to a point of asking God to do "whatever it takes" to bring Rick to Christ. When Rick became very ill with kidney disease a few months later, his spiritual interest began to grow, and after time and much more arduous prayer, Rick came to faith 18 months before his death.

Diana still misses Rick but has never regretted The Most Dangerous Prayer (read Diana's story in our online library). In her ongoing journey with the Lord, Diana has pursued theological education in the last few years at Dallas Seminary.

Find out more about Christian women surrendering their marriages and dreams of marriage through the Bible study Beautiful Surrender.
Episode #42: Sandra's Story

Continuing the series Unexpected Turns, host Laura Wilcox welcomes guest Sandra, who shares about a struggle through a dark time in her life. Sandra came to faith as a child and had walked by faith many years when she first faced a crisis of faith because of her mother's death from cancer. Sandra was disappointed God had chosen not to heal her mother, yet Sandra chose to continue following God. A few years later, married and with two small children, Sandra received her own cancer diagnosis. Fearful of dying and leaving her children, she found refuge in God's Word. As she paged through Scripture, she saw over and over how God's people in many perilous situations chose to trust God and found Him faithful.

Sandra faced her fears many times during a long and difficult recovery. She encourages listeners who suffer in frightening situations to bring their fears to God again and again, knowing He sees them, loves them, and will never leave them.

In the ongoing series Unexpected Turns, host Laura Wilcox talks with Suzan, a woman from Kenya who experienced a traumatic gang rape at the age of 16. Later, she lived in Atlanta and saw God's sovereign hand over her life when He intervened in a dangerous situation at work. For her safety, she moved to Houston to live with her sister and began attending Metro Bible Study with many believers her age. Suzan began to experience renewed hope. In the years that followed, she saw God changing her identity from a woman who felt unloved and damaged to a beloved, chosen and beautiful child of God.
International Harvest #33: Hanin's Story

Remembering God's greater story around the world provides perspective to our personal stories. Laura shares an insightful conversation with two special sisters in Christ. Hanin and Ann (not their real names) talk about their unlikely friendship since Ann is an American and Hanin is a woman from the Middle East. Yet God brought both women joy through the intersection of their stories. Because Hanin speaks Arabic, Ann translates for her while also sharing about her experiences in the Arab world. Hanin and Ann discuss with Laura how Hanin came to faith, how she met her husband, what it's like to be a refugee, how Hanin serves in the harvest, and what are her prayer requests for her family and for their ministry. Laura shares that a portion of the funds received from Sacred Story Retreats are donated to the Adopt A Refugee program, and she invites listeners to consider giving too. The Adopt A Refugee program is a way to help Muslim background believers who have come to faith in Christ and who are planting churches among refugees from their own country. The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few so we are prayerful at Sacred Story for more laborers to be sent into His harvest fields whether the harvest fields are in your neighborhood or across the world. Matthew 9:37-38

She explains the wholeness she received as she healed.

Erica shares about marrying her "first love" and embracing her new life which she hoped would grow into the ideal Christian family. She describes to Laura the warning signs which came several years into marriage, signaling her marriage was unraveling. Despite efforts to remain true to each other, their relationship continued to be marked by betrayal, hurt, and confusion. Erica shares how God gave her wisdom to navigate her relationship with a husband who wouldn't choose her over his addiction and how she found peace to move forward. She explains the wholeness she received as she healed. This conversation will encourage every woman who finds herself feeling helpless when someone she loves is in a destructive spiral, despairing when her dreams are dashed, and longing to be the woman God designed her to be. Do you have a story of hope to share? Gather friends for a Sacred Story Retreat.

Wendy attended a Sacred Story Retreat with a group of college friends where she reflected on God's work in her story. She shares with Laura how her relationship with her mother-in-law began with so much promise and yet unfolded in misunderstanding, hurt, and estrangement. Wendy describes how the tension began, what traumatic events caused a severing of the relationship, and how she and her husband navigated difficult dynamics. She also offers hope for anyone who is experiencing distance from a loved one when she shares how her relationship with her mother-in-law has been restored. Wendy's story Be Reconciled is an amazing example of how God takes the messiness of relationships and makes something beautiful.
Hidden in Plain Sight #27: Becky Allender

Laura and Becky begin the conversation with Becky hiding in her early years which contributed to her feeling unseen. Becky shares about brokenness as our human experience. She witnessed deficits in her parent's lives and felt the effects in her life. She shares more about processing pain in a person's upbringing, and at the same time, she looks back on her parent's struggles with empathy and increasing love. Becky vulnerably talks about messing up in parenting, struggles with jealousy, and her pursuit to be kinder to herself. Laura asks her about our need to risking and the benefits which come from doing so with the Lord. One of the risks Becky took is to enter the stories of men and women involved in sex trafficking. In her work with ICAP Global, she "stepped on the neck of evil" by following God's calling to show His love. Becky describes what a story workshop is like at the Allender Center along with other resources for reflecting on a person's story. Laura shares what joy and insight she received by reading Becky's book Hidden in Plain Sight: One Woman's Search for Intimacy, Identity, and Calling, and both Laura and Becky celebrate the gift of sharing our stories with others. Laura asks Courtney about stories of changed lives and both celebrate the joy of seeing the Great Commission carried out through the lives of believers who take steps even when "doing it scared."

Laura's conversation with Erika begins with a crossroads in Erika's story. Erika and her husband found themselves in a deficit in their finances and yet Erika felt led to talk more about hope in Jesus to her clients at her hair salon. Laura and Erika discuss what it means for her to risk bringing the hope of Christ into her conversations when she didn't know how her clients would respond and whether her boldness would cause her to lose business. Erika shares stories of lives she's seen changed by the power of the Holy Spirit and the wild adventure of being on mission. Erika's also explains the deep pain she's experienced through the loss of children and how sharing her pain while living life alongside people brings Jesus into focus. Laura and Erika talk about the enemy's tactics to keep believers from speaking up and practical ways to help people know Christ personally.

Sharing Hope #23: Teresa Snow

Laura's conversation with Teresa Snow begins with Teresa sharing how she came to faith in Jesus Christ while in high school. Teresa's experience as a teenage girl who grew in her faith from those who discipled her gave her a deep conviction to do the same for others. Teresa and Laura talk about being alongside others in life, and how to enter into their stories with love and a word of hope. This powerful conversation also includes making the most of opportunities to plant seeds and how to bridge to the Gospel when the opportunity arises. Laura asks Teresa about barriers to reaching others and yet there's great encouragement through this conversation to take the next step even when feeling inadequate and fearful. Teresa talks about her personal experiences in broaching discipleship with women and stories of how she's seen God move in the lives of those around her. As resources, Teresa recommends 99 Questions to Create Space to Talk with People, EveryPerson.com for those who have questions about faith, Everystudent.com for resources in 40 languages, the book God Space by Doug Pollock, and StartingwithGod.com as a resource for new believers.

Laura and Sarah talk about damaging messages she received growing up which made her feel like she didn't measure up or needed to project a certain image in order to be accepted. Sarah shares examples of the words spoken by her mother which emphasized the priority of her appearance and weight. Over time, Sarah's began to believe lies about herself, God, and others and shares the lies including how believing them affected her social, spiritual, and emotional life. Sarah's path to healing included turning to the Lord to receive His view of her, taking her hurt to Him, pursuing counseling, and being in community with friends and family who could encourage her. Sarah's prayer to see her mother as God does brought further restoration as her mother confided in her about painful things in her past which were not dealt with. The beauty of ongoing restoration of what the enemy intended for evil and the rebuilding of their relationship within healthy boundaries round out the conversation. Sarah shares the healing she received from reflecting upon and sharing her story.
Unexpected Turns #17: Melanie's Story

Laura's conversation with Melanie begins with Melanie sharing her story of a growing friendship which caused her heart break when her friend pulls away. She describes how the friend let her into her life and seemed to embrace shared beliefs about God and the walk of faith. When the friend decides to take a path that was in contrast to her former stance, the result is hurt and wounds from the interaction. Melanie reflects on managing expectations in friendship and examining motives for giving to others. When there's shared Biblical conviction among sisters in Christ that a friend chooses to ignore, the disparity can cause hurt and misunderstanding. Melanie and Laura talk about the powerful temptation to compromise in the area of sexual purity and how women can live this out in a world which promotes the opposite. The conversation wraps up with Melanie describing how she moved through hurt and found a place of peace including wisdom in how to respond when someone wounds you and doesn't realize it. Visit the Sacred Story website to read stories of women overcoming hurt and betrayal through the strength of Christ.

Laura's conversation begins with Renee's story of leaving her life behind in the United States to live on a Caribbean island in her late 20's. Renee's dream of island life unfolds with a new place to live, adopting a dog, and meeting a boyfriend. As her boyfriend becomes more violent, Renee faces the reality that this chapter of her story is not turning out the way she imagined. Renee recounts how God rescued her and her dog from harm. The woo-ing heart of God is displayed in a powerful way through Renee's story. Laura and Renee talk about women in abusive relationships, how to respond when in an abusive relationship, and how to support someone who you suspect is being abused. A desire to escape into different circumstances can be a temptation to live independent of God's plan which can unfold in unexpected difficulty and suffering. Visit the Sacred Story website to make a donation and receive a care package with Renee's story contained in it.

A care package includes a guided Sacred story journal, book mark, pen, and Scripture cards ($30 value with shipping and handling).

Laura and Jean's conversation begins with Jean sharing about her desire to move, feeling stuck, and then being forced out of her home by Hurricane Harvey. Jean describes the aftermath of being flooded, how God came through for her family, and led them to take an RV trip that lasted for almost a year. She is candid about life on the road as well as the barriers to dreaming and taking a risk to do something that seems impractical or unusual to others. The dialogue also includes supporting others as they pursue their dreams and discerning God's leading. Finally, Jean discloses her fear of writing as a woman who doesn't see herself as a writer.

Laura talks with Paty about coming to faith in Jesus as a young girl in Mexico. Paty shares how she heard God speak to her about being part of His greater story around the world and the barriers she faced to following Him. She provides more detail about the adventure of serving in Athens, Greece and standing against the evils of sex traffiking. She explains sex traffiking, the ways she is a vessel of care for women, and shares stories of hope. The conversation includes the balance between Paty entering into God's battle for hearts, taking care of herself, and cultivating her relationship with the Lord. Paty's prayer and passion is for the Latin American church to see themselves as integral in the Great Commission.
