Obeying the law never made anyone righteous. The law was given to show what love looks like and shows us how to relate to people. When I know righteousness and feel righteous, I have the gift of authority and can renew my mind and write His truth on my heart. Once I believe I am righteous in my heart, I experience harmony, peace and joy!

If we start our prayer, “If you’re willing” you’re saying “I don’t know you…I don’t trust you.” Instead, we know God’s will and we think like God, Love like God and we are confident in Him so we can pray, “I know your will” and start praying with what we know to be true.

Light is clear succinct perception. We don’t want to live a life that is “less than”, for then we become susceptible to corruption. As soon as you assume why anything has happened, you have entered into judgment. In the garden, man chose to be their own God, and it turned into idolatry. The New Testament quotes Jesus as saying that "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God". The size of the eye of the needle is all about the degree that you look to your own conscience to decide what you are qualified for. There is nothing left for God to do, we just have to decide what the goodness of God means for us. Harmonizing our character with the nature of Jesus is true righteousness and results in joining heaven and earth. Making a decision is an exercise of authority.

Fear of the unknown can morph into fear of being wrong, and hearing amiss is when we are not aligning our faith with God’s written word. A lie that some believe is: when man sinned, he lost his authority. In truth, we didn’t lose authority, we lost our identity. With every desire, we have the choice to go to God or go to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. With our feet standing firmly on the love of God, we can address areas of our life without fear and condemnation. We are free from the power of sin. One needs only to yield to the power of righteousness, and the struggle with sin will be over.

Darkness can’t decode light, but light instantly decodes darkness. One thing that is required of us, is that we die to self. Our intention is to surrender. When we die to self we experience resurrection, and are raised in newness and experience life beyond our dreams or imaginations. When we give up our perceived picture of “perfect” and die to our opinions, he raises us up in strength, sweetness and simplicity.

When we don’t understand something, we tend to make it complicated. God always comes to us in a gentle way, never with force. Every day, God simply says choose life or death. Choose joy or sorrow. God instructs the Israelites to “remember” the times they were rescued and established. We have massive amounts of authority when we “think on these things”. The correlation and causation continuum works like this: Something “works” in our spiritual walk, we attach ritual to it and create a new legalism for ourselves. Correlation isn’t causation, so we must be careful not to put faith in a process or formula. Every thought is based on a memory or an imagination with some connection to what you’ve heard or experienced, so in our mind we link and draw conclusions. Feeling truly secure is when we are in harmony with God’s never-changing character, and developing ability to flow with every moment.

Make the definitive decision, I will experience it and then enter into the authority to receive and take it into your life.

This is writing beliefs on your heart over and over again, until the destructive beliefs have faded away, and you are no longer tempted to think along those lines.

As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Your thoughts are your doorkeeper that controls what goes in and what goes out of your heart, and your heart is like your inner home. If a prevalent emotion is negative, you can change your focus, thus changing the emotion. Emotions are based on where you’re putting your attention. You may hear inspirational information, that brings you positive emotions, but if you don’t actuate those emotions within 12-24 hours they start floating away. Establishing your doorkeeper is an intentional choice that you have.

If you want to experience something that is impossible, become very comfortable with the invisible. Learn to perceive what cannot be seen. God created the heavens with sub-atomic energies. They were all here before the matter was created. Faith is not creating something out of nothing. We think of faith as dealing with the non-existent. God has already created the field, and within that field/heavens/space there are invisible energies that you can’t see or measure. God still dwells outside of space and matter, but Jesus came inside space and matter to show us how we could function.

Righteousness is a spiritual eternal reality which can never be intellectually explained but is realized when we are at one with God.
