The three talk about the past year and a half that included a feasibility study that analyzed current space in the District as we continue to grow. The study looked at classroom space in all buildings, building utilization, where residential development is happening or projected to occur, and pressure points across the District. Then, the team worked with staff and students to assess future needs as well as analyze possibilities for construction options. They also visited other school districts who underwent expansion projects in recent years at the secondary level because that is where Parkland's projected enrollment growth is of most concern. As a result, the high school is about to undergo an expansion and plans to reconfigure Orefield's site are in the works as one project affects the other. The girls' team won the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (EPC) and District Championships, and made a deep run in the State Tournament before falling in the semi-final round to the eventual state champion, Cardinal O'Hara.
