Season 2 is all about the 'U in US'. In order to build healthy communities we need to do the inner work, and focus on looking within. We have honest and vulnerable conversations with guests from all around the world, looking at how we can all do the inner work to build ourselves up and move forward. We live and build healthy communities, relationships and families out of the overflow of our hearts and minds, and we can't take care of everyone at the cost of losing ourselves. So join us on this wellbeing journey.

-------------------------

Follow Nizam on Instagram : @nizamspeaks

Nizam Speaks is a Spoken Word artist from North London. He first started performing in 2015 and has since performed at various events, festivals and open mic nights across London. His poetry is real, raw and filled with messages of hope. He touches on topics such as mental health, relationships, faith and more. He won an award for ‘Best Spoken Word Video’ at the 2019 Poetry Awards for his poem Dark Days. This is at a hard hitting, honest and emotional poem that leaves viewers more aware about what depression can really be like - especially for a believer. Devyn share's her research about what healthy evolution of culture in the Pacific looks like and how disaster displacement due to climate change is affecting this. Lastly we cover natural disasters in the Pacific and the effect on families, society and a country's GDP. And of course... we talk about solutions to climate change, how we can all support the rights of indigenous people and how we can decolonize identity.

Devyn Holliday is a black and indigenous researcher, cultural enthusiast, and development practitioner from the California Bay Area. Currently based in London, UK she works as a researcher and social development practitioner specializing in indigenous Oceania as well as Small Island Developing States. She examines the intersection between people and their environment, climate change migration, natural disaster and sustainable development. Devyn also works on social development projects in Oceania geared at building more resilient and inclusive societies.</itunes:subtitle>
