If you had asked the high school version of Erik what he would be doing for a career, you would have heard something like a rock star or studio producer. In college, Erik studied music with the intention of becoming an educator and following in his parents’ footsteps. His predilection for technology won the career battle though, and he moved on to start Focus Lab. Transitioning from musician to developer, to entrepreneur, Erik has a variety of interests these days. What ties them all together, though, is a hunger to learn how and why things work. When Erik isn’t at work, he’s probably chillin’ with his kids, his wife, his church, or a combination of the three. He's also enjoying the beginnings of a hobby in woodworking. If he’s not doing those things, there’s a really good chance he’s enjoying peace and quiet somewhere.

Previously Sung has led UX/UI design efforts for Samsung MILK VR, Sam's Club mobile shopping app, 7-Eleven.com, FedEx Office workstations, Starbucks promo campaigns, (PRODUCT)RED website redesign, and Bud Light’s first mobile site. In 2013, Sung quit his full time job to pursue a passion project and started a company with $8K in his bank account. To fund the project, he moved into his parents' house, sold his car for $5K, raised $10K from a Kickstarter campaign, and worked 120 hours a week on a number of contract jobs. But after 3 years and $300K+ of development efforts, the project ended up failing. Sung is now a Lead Product Designers at Amazon and recently launched a new tire installation service that became #3 top selling service on Amazon in 3 weeks.

Matt ‘Mills’ Miller founded digital product design studio Ustwo with John Sinclair in 2004. In the 14 years since, Ustwo expanded to include an independent games studio and Ustwo adventure: a startup fund and incubator that supports early-stage startups and digital companies. The company’s driving ethos is to create meaningful products and services. Alongside designing products for the likes of Sky and Facebook, it developed Google DeepMind’s Streams app, which can be used to remotely monitor patients from hospitals, and created the phenomenally successful mobile and tablet game Monument Valley. Mills stepped away from his operational duties at Ustwo to head up adventure – which provides support, investment, and a workspace for startups at its London studio – in 2017.

Ryan Rumsey is the CEO and founder of Second Wave Dive, where he develops boutique leadership programs for professionals in the digital product and services industries. Second Wave Dive has worked with product, design, and executive leaders from companies like Google, IBM, Lyft, Workday, ConsenSys, Autodesk, and ANZ. Ryan has a hybrid background in interaction design, front-end development, and product management. Previously he led digital product innovation and transformation at Apple, Electronic Arts, USAA, and Nestlé. His life experiences include working on a farm and acting in a Staind music video. Ryan is a dad, partner, and massive fan of the Liverpool Football Club.
