Practically Abstract

This podcast aims to explore the relationship between philosophy and ethics; and subsequently, between ethics and design.

Ethics, like design, is praxis; the process by which theory becomes realized. Whereas design’s praxis comes from research, and problem-framing, the praxis of ethics comes from the study of philosophy, the study of being for the sake of wisdom.

By looking at where people's understanding of reality comes from, we hope to learn more about why things are as they are, and how might we have a better understanding of where we are going in the world.
