A little late-coming but we wanted to update you all on where we're at and what's in store for the show ahead. You may have noticed that our releases have been a little sporadic of late. As I’m sure is true for many of you, this has been a particulalry trying year for us over at Demon Dayz for a variety of reasons. Due to a lot of forces outside of our control, it’s been difficult for us to record, edit, and provide you all with the stories we want to tell.

We’ve decided to take a small hiatus until the end of the year to rest, collect ourselves, and chart the way forward. We’d love for you to use this time to catch up on episodes and get ready for what’s to come. Join us on our Instagram, Twitter, and our Discord - we’re very active there and it’s a pretty good time. Chat with us, let us know what you hope to see from the podcast when we return. Rest assured - we are committed to bringing you the completion of the story of Taslin, Fetter, and Yusef in some form. Chapter 28 - The Shattered Lands

A hundred years ago a massive quake sundered the eastern shores of Valderian, leaving devastation in its wake and creating what is now referred to as The Shattered Lands. The port town of Edgewater to the north managed to turn the geographical blight into something of a tourist trap in later years, giving a minor boost to their stalling economy. And for a time things were considered good, although you might have gotten a different answer if you polled any random passersby along Edgewater’s main streets. In fact, if you managed to talk to everyone in the town you’d discover a shared emotion: dread. It’s this same feeling that besets our heroes as they begin making their way to the Tower of All.

Chapter 23 - Regrets and Reconciliations

The fight over the fate of the Succubus comes to a head and the party finds they must reconcile some major philosophical differences if they wish to move forward. On the one hand, the victims at The Rest of Eldath signed their souls away of their own volition. That’s just “good business” as far as devils of the nine are concerned. On the other hand, the contracts were shit and signed under dubious pretenses. And there’s that whole bit where the Succubus tried to charm and possibly kill Yewsiff. Is now the time and is this the place to mete out justice, or must destiny be allowed to shape the killer’s punishment?

With the gnolls defeated, the tiefling are approached by an Aasimar scouting party and questioned about the events surrounding the mountain and about the missing adventuring party that was last seen heading this way. The scouts make a forceful suggestion to get the party to come with them back to Trost, but there’s resistance.

Escape is not so quick, however, as the gang finds themselves caught in a skirmish between an Aasimar scouting party and a bunch of gnolls. Roll for initiative!

A Welcome and a Primer
