This was a super raw episode, I bore it all, I held nothing back, including the tears and frustration and it surprised even me cause I wasn't expecting to get as emotional as I did... I've been going through some things, had to decide about my future, was miserable where I was at in the world, and just everything at once, soooo I decided to do what I do best (which is keep it inside and not talk about it) rather than what I learned (which is talk about it so others can relate and I can heal and feel better)... anywho, let me know what you think, this makes me uncomfortable and nervous that it's out but let's see what happens!

I talk about what it's like growing up with half-siblings 15+ years my seniors, having a complicated family dynamic, and the lessons I've learned over the years by having them (at a distance) in my life. Fun fact: one of them hates me with a passion (or is jealous, either way) and tries to make my life as miserable as possible.

Do you feel pressured to make 10K+ in less than 6 months when you're just starting out in business? How about seeing everyone featured as a "top 10...." in the media, do you feel like you NEED the validation?

I'm talking about exactly THAT in this week's solo episode. This toxic behavior needs to stop, we're constantly chasing after validation, and it ends up becoming a vicious cycle that causes people to show their "highlight reels" (pun intended) on social media, and also becomes a manipulation of twisting the truth and not being authentic. I'm NOT here for this. I'm encouraging you to stand for what you believe in, uphold your values, and only chase after your past self and use them as competition! Thanks for coming to my ted talk 😂

Other times, you need to hit your breaking point to realize you need to make a change. Whatever situation you're in, know that you're not alone and there's always something you can do about it! So in this episode, I'm talking about my own quarter-life struggles, what's going on in my mind right now, what being single is like, why this always tends to happen near a birthday, and what we can do about it. You know what I'm talking about, that mini-crisis you get when you're in your 20s or mid-20s and then you realize you're not where you'd want to be, or something else hits you and then you spiral. Hope this resonates with you, and remember, your life doesn't have to be perfect!
