Formed in 2020 with influences that span all genres and decades, they have found a sound that borders on the edge of country, blues and rock. The music is written by frontman, Derek Bailey who uses his life experience to write authentic songs about Love and War. Lead Guitarist, Brett Barr, brings a bluesy rock tone to the band that ties the sound together with emotional, improvised guitar. The beat comes from energetic drummer, Matt Brodeur, who is sure to make each performance lively. The heartbeat of the band is a thumping bassline played by Andrew Whitely. All aspects together deliver a sound and feeling that will fill venues of all sizes. Bailey and the Bad Habits have a very wide range of influence, including Whiskey Myers, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Blackberry Smoke, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Hank Williams Jr. Pat Green, John Anderson and many, many more. Of course, we discuss the history and progression of the band. The Infamists are a three-headed rattlesnake that purveys all forms of rock and roll. Driven by the blues and channeled through a power trio medium, the group has explored sounds ranging from psychedelic rock to heavy metal with an "anything goes" mentality. On stage, the band peaks and winds through psychedelic jams and Sabbath-inspired riff anthems, all accented by a native Southern twang.

Not flipping burgers, mind you, but flipping the script on our understanding of ska's true depth. We're talking educators-turned-punk-rock-poets, dissecting the genre with more precision than a surgeon wielding a pogo stick.

Then came the real mic drop: Flip's insights into the ska scene's rising stars. He namedropped bands faster than a kid at a candy buffet, each pick more surprising than the last. Forget your run-of-the-mill two-tone, we're talking ska infused with punk, ska with a Latin twist, ska that could make your grandma skank (not that I'd recommend it, Nana).

So, tune in, skank out, and let Flip's words wash over you like a wave of checkered Vans.
